John Farr worked on his first radio collaboration with recording artist Freda Payne ("Band of Gold") in the summer of 1970.In nearly four decades that he has continued his work with radio, he has not only bought media from countless radio sales reps, represented new recording artists, groups and music superstars for programming consideration, but built marketing plans that included every station decision maker from Group Vice President to Account Executive.
And, the key for John's success has been the word "collaboration". He always maintains that even if every proposal does not involve a prominent retail icon such as Blockbuster or Best Buy, or a famous music artist or group such as Bruce Springsteen or Michael Jackson, a continued excellent relationship with station personnel is vital to future successes together. In the last 3 years alone, John has negotiated and executed more than 300 radio station annual contracts in the U.S. alone.
